Anna's miniature replica windows and doors

are painted in the traditional screen painting technique

so that

"You See Out, No One Sees In."

Witness the true magic of disappearing painted screens with your own eyes. Painted screens' "see-thru" feature was a popular rowhouse essential before the days of air conditioning.

The bonus of privacy from outsiders was valued by rowhouse residents as well, while the colorful images became an unique neighborhood treasure as art gallery along the streets.
